For 27 Years, Foodsales has been a leader in sales solutions into the grocery market for both food and non-food brands and products. Foodsales are Sales specialists for Food and Household businesses focusing on the Discount market, Wholesale, Cash & Carry, and the Independent trade. We have been successfully working with clients in these sectors for over twenty seven years.
We are a Sales led organisation with a sales team of 11 people calling on all non national multiple outlets. The convenience sector still represents a major income stream which cannot be ignored and Foodsales was formed in 1984 to address this gap in manufacturers sales efforts. We have close relationships with the Discount trade. IGD research forecasts the discount and value channel will be worth £8.0bn by 2014. This represents growth of 39% on 2009, and makes it the second fastest growing channel behind online. This is currently over 5% of the UK grocery sales value.

History
Foodsales was founded in 1983 to offer coverage to national companies of all key accounts and branch outlets in Scotland The business expanded to NE and NW England, and then to the M62 corridor and then to full national converge in 1998. Sales grew to £35M by 2009.
The business was acquired by Petty Wood in 2009 and operates independently with a different business model In October 2010, Foodsales took on responsibility for the Parent company Petty Wood Wholesales, Cash & Carry and discounter sector sales.
April 2011 – moved to new offices, to improve efficiencies and to be nearer the main airport and rail links.
